Traditional Hawk Tattoo on the Upperarm

This falcon arm tattoo is the first session of a large-scale project that includes the idea of ​​creating the entire sleeve. In these cases, as is usually the case, for reasons both aesthetic and general project planning, we started with the outer part of the arm, so that we could first create a piece that was aesthetically pleasing and that would allow more freedom and options when it came to the rest of the sleeve.

As one of the main pieces of the project, we opted for something quite large, basically covering the entire upper part of the sleeve. For the development of the piece, strong contrasts of black and white were used to achieve visual impact, and sumi-e was used to add details/ornaments such as the two-tone scales or the black stripes on the wings.
