Blackwork Japanese Dragon Traditional Tattoo on the Upperarm

This Japanese dragon tattoo on the outer arm represents the first session of a long-term project, the goal of which is to complete the entire sleeve.

For this reason, we started with the upper part and began with one of the main elements of the final project: the dragon. The dragon was made in a large size, extending from shoulder to elbow, coiling to give a sense of movement and strength. The opportunity was also taken to add a dual tone to the scales and a very light gray to the belly. To enhance legibility and visual impact, grays were used to separate the planes.
