Goddess Kali’s Full Back Project

This imposing piece, depicting a Goddess Kali covering the entire back, was developed in five sessions, always in a Neotraditional style and influenced by traditional Asian art. It stands out for its precise, clean, yet bold design, thanks to the strong lines that clearly define each element and the use of colors associated with Eastern culture, such as cool blues and intense reds.

The client came with the idea of creating Kali, but didn’t want her face to cover her entire back and didn’t know what elements to add. She explained why she wanted just that Divinity, which is a symbol in Eastern culture associated with destruction, time, change, and liberation. Thus, the Kali was created with multiple arms, a very aggressive expression, and her arm extended, as she is traditionally represented. A necklace of skulls, bloody weapons, and decapitated heads were added.
