“0–1”

This freehand calf tattoo was designed directly on the skin, using layered markers — starting with light yellow-green, then orange and red, and finishing in black. The tonal build-up helped shape the layout before the tattooing began.

The lettering tattoo on the leg focuses on tone over outline. The “1” was first filled with solid black, then detailed with greywash and water-based lines. The “0” acts as a frame, with lighter tones used to keep the contrast soft but clear.
