Dark Ornamental Freehand Project of Chest, Neck and Face

The elegance of this ornamental project is the first thing that strikes you visually when you look at it. It was a project completed entirely freehand in four sessions, the only way to follow the silhouette of the body and connect everything so that it appears as a single design developed between the chest, neck, and face.

The client had some old tattoos she wanted to cover, but at the same time, she didn’t want to hide everything because of the risk of having an extreme result. So, she basically did a “Blast Over,” a technique where a tattoo is created over an old one, without completely hiding it, but rather artistically integrating it so that both coexist. That is, it uses the previous design as a background or base, allowing both elements to blend and result in a new tattoo. It almost resembles armor enveloping the body, made with thick lines in a very solid and saturated black that interact with organic curves and more rigid angles, creating a sense of movement, taking advantage of the body’s anatomy and adapting to its shape.

This piece, although clearly very striking, maintains an absolute delicacy thanks to its composition, highlighting the beauty of the person who wears it.
