A floral themed sleeve connecting a peony and a chrysanthemum, one on the arm and the other on the outer part of the forearm, was developed in 2 sessions. The client, being a woman, wanted a solid but delicate piece at the same time because she did not want the tattoo to be too dark or black, and that is why, after a long consultation, we decided to do it in negative, making the flowers lighter through the use of sumi and grays, also with some white details, outlining the whole thing with a darker background to create that contrast and give volume to the flowers. This type of floral theme is very suitable for an arm because the leaves allow it to follow the silhouette and adapt well to the shape of the body in a more organic way.
