Rib Cover with an Orchid

This piece is a cover for a tattoo the client wanted to hide, and as always, in these cases, the rule is to create something two to three times the size of the old tattoo so it can be covered and concealed well.

Being a woman, I wanted something that wasn’t so dark but more delicate, so for this “botanical” tattoo, we chose an orchid because it was the best option for what the client was looking for. The darker leaves allowed us to completely cover what she had, and then the flowers allowed us to create a piece that wasn’t visually so dark.

The result is a very delicate tattoo that features a contrast between darker and lighter areas, perfectly adapting to the body’s anatomy
