This piece was done to rework and expand a previous tattoo that read “Family 1st”. The design was drawn straight on the scalp with markers — no stencil — and adjusted in real time to match the natural head shape. The new “D” was built using black and grey techniques with controlled linework and soft transitions. Instead of replacing the old tattoo, Gabri merged the two through shading and flow, making the new letter feel like it was always part of the original. A structured, intuitive cover-up tattoo on the head — where composition and memory meet. Done entirely freehand.
