This tattoo of a demon with Japanese-influenced features is characterized by its sharp gaze. The client requested an almost yokai-like monster with mythical and warrior features. For that reason, we chose to fit it within a highly detailed helmet. The goal was to convey a blend of mysticism and aggression typical of Japanese demons or oni. In the creation of this piece, two different tattoo techniques were used, or rather, two styles: blackwork and dotwork, to give a lot of depth and texture to the demon’s skin.
