With over 10 years of experience, Barbarete’s tattooing journey began in Brazil, where she traveled across the country, learning techniques, collaborating with artists, and working in various studios. This diverse exposure allowed her to develop a unique and highly original style, blending colors, surrealism, and blackwork with technical precision. Now, as a resident artist at BHORN Tattoo and Design Studio she continues to refine her craft and create meaningful, visually striking tattoos.

She is best known for her bold use of solid red, intricate graphic arts, and signature motifs like hearts and eyes, crafting fluid, organic compositions that seamlessly integrate patterns, botany, and arabesques. Her work ranges from large, detailed projects to minimalist designs that explore negative space, ensuring each tattoo is both aesthetically balanced and emotionally resonant.

Barbarete is passionate about creating custom tattoos inspired by personal stories and life experiences, translating emotions into meaningful artwork. Whether it’s a flash piece, a cover-up, or a large-scale project, she brings balance and sensitivity to every design.

Outside of tattooing, Barbarete enjoys painting, studying psychoanalysis and sociology, learning about the universe, and planning new travels. Her curiosity and artistic exploration add depth to her work, making each tattoo not just an image, but a true piece of art
